This June, we had the honor of capturing a wedding at Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, a small mountain town known for its breathtaking views and cozy charm.

The day began with the bride and her bridal party getting ready at her aunt’s house, just a few minutes from the resort. The home was filled with the excited chatter of bridesmaids, the laughter of family members, and the anticipation of a day that had been years in the making. The bride looked absolutely stunning as she prepared to walk down the aisle, surrounded by those she loves most.

One of the highlights of the day was the couple’s decision to save their newlywed photos for after dinner, during the golden hour. This allowed them to fully participate in cocktail hour and dinner with their guests—a great option for couples who want to soak in every moment with their loved ones. As the sun dipped behind the mountains, we captured some truly magical photos of the couple, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun.
